The University of Houston-Victoria is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Educational Administration and Leadership.
The candidate should possess a strong background in Leadership, Supervision, Educational Research, and Evaluation, specific to the needs of K-12 grade public schools. Familiarity with on-line teaching is desirable. Responsibilities include: teaching graduate students in educational administration, research resulting in publications and providing service to school districts. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in educational leadership or educational administration. Preferred qualifications include University teaching experience, evidence of successful K-12 teaching experience, recent administrative experience as a principal at the elementary, middle or secondary school level with evidence of instructional leadership at the campus or district level; or superintendent experience, evidence of scholarly work; knowledge and use of technology and its administrative applications.
The appointment is a nine month, tenure tract, appointment with additional opportunities for summer teaching. The University of Houston-Victoria is located in Victoria , Texas with off-campus satellite teaching sites at University of Houston System in Sugar Land .
