Faculty Positions in Educational Administration

Invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions beginning September 1, 2005.

The successful candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Educational Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. The positions require elementary and/or secondary teaching experience; instructional and organizational leadership experience; and an ability to work with practicing school administrators. Prior university experience, the potential to contribute to professional/scholarly literature and public school administrative experience is preferred. Teaching load is 9 hours per semester. One of the positions will be located on the main campus in Stephenville (Job #067-05) while the other is located at the Tarleton State University Center in Killeen (Job #051-05) . Stephenville is located approximately 60 miles southwest of Ft. Worth . Killeen is located approximately 60 miles north of Austin . Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching graduate courses at the masters and doctoral levels; advising students; supervising administrative interns; and conducting field service and research activities. Teaching assignments include on-campus and off-campus, including Stephenville, Killeen , Fort Worth , and Waco . Summer teaching is normally available.

Educational Administration Positions

The Department of Educational Administration, Counseling and Psychology, College of Education , Tarleton State University : is accepting applications for two tenure-track positions in Educational Administration at the Assistant Professor level. The proposed date of employment is September 1, 2006.

Successful candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Educational Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. Both positions require elementary and/or secondary teaching experience; instructional and organizational leadership experience; and an ability to work with practicing school administrators. Prior university experience, the potential to contribute to professional/scholarly literature and public school administrative experience are also preferred. For one position, preference will be given to individuals with superintendency experience. The typical teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching graduate courses at the masters and doctoral levels; advising students; supervising administrative interns; and conducting field service and research activities. Teaching assignments include teaching on-campus and off-campus at Stephenville, Fort Worth , and Waco sites. Summer teaching is normally available.
